It's too quiet.

No more birds tweeting in the morning, no more owls calling at night. The cat next door hisses no more, and the dog across the street cannot growl.

Something very strange is going on, Especially since my neighbourhood is usually quite loud, especially to night.

I'll keep my eyes open.

Ps: now that I think of it, the nights are never silent any more. Whenever I try to close my eyes and go to sleep I hear whispering, everywhere.

Quick update

Nothing much has changed since last update. Sickness is beginning to go away though- in both me and Zack. His Blog still isn't up yet, by the way. He's been busy a lot recently, and neither of us feel that this is important enough to get in the way of family life, or higher education.

Well, he feels that way. I still think that this is a dark thing that's entered our lives, myself. Though to be fair I've always had a penchant for melodramatics. There's still the chance that it's something bad, but it's arguable that that chance is small, and nearly negligible- The Sigma thing notwithstanding, at least.

I'm also going on a residential trip with a Youth Orchestra during the Easter Holidays. We're going to a Private School in Culford to rehearse some music for a concert. It's a lovely place. Nice grounds. Trees everywhere. There's a swimming pool, and a few opportunities for swimming (I need to buy a new pair of trunks badly at this point) and a girl I'm very much taken with is coming along to play violin too, so I can ogle her from behind when we go swimming. Maybe I'll even find out if she likes me- although that might be asking a bit much.

Either way, I guess I've got to thank the people who are looking at this, and maybe even deciding to follow it, and I've also got to ask them if they know anything about this sickness we've been experiencing. Another odd thing is that me and Zack were hiking once, and I was about to snap a photo of him posing on top of a huge hill, when we both suddenly broke into coughing, and my cameraphone started getting all sorts of crazy static and stuff on it's display. The interference and coughing stopped shortly, but we both decided to move on rather quickly. Not sure if it's very much important, but I feel you should know if you're gonna try and help.

Thanks again.

Sorry. Something came up.

I just want to say sorry- I've been away for a while now, and to be perfectly honest, I don't have a legitimate reason for it. All I can really say is that my friend who's also had this sickness for some time now and who was going to join me on this blog and I came to a revelation in terms of that- there's no way we can both use one account, I mean, it says "by Kev Elliot" at the end of every post I make, and my friend- whose name is Zackery Mondy, not Kev Elliot- would need his own blog.

In the meantime though, I've been doing a spot of ((tea?)) research on this sickness I mentioned, and on that sigma thing that cropped up, although I don't think it's terribly important, and the messenger who told me about it was probably some crazy old cat lady. Either way I turned up nothing on the medical forum I use, which I won't link to because its localised to my nearest surgery, and a general google didn't unearth anything particularly interesting, just some stuff in German.

But the sickness is slowly getting worse. I'm getting nosebleeds, and zack is telling me he coughed up blood once.

Paranoia.

Hello, World. My name- as far as you, and the others are concerned- is Kev Elliot. I have a friend who operates with me, following the same role and titles as I do, named Zackery Mondy- at least as far as you'll ever know. I hope.

I created this in light of the facts that both me and my friend, Zack, have both been seeing some very disturbing things as of late, and have both contracted some very suspiciously similar illnesses. I was informed by an anonymous woman wearing a purple scarf over her mouth in the streets of Bury St. Edmunds that this was no mere co-incidence, and that something called Sigma was involved. That's all we know.

I'm not really sure I want to know any more either, but as it is with all of us, I'd hope, my curiosity is driving me forward- potentially off a cliff.

I feel like this first post is really formal and stiff. I hope I get better at it as I go along.

But basically, this blog was created so we can document our findings. I personally don't think it's much- just paranoia and stuff, because we live in a world full of insane people who just don't know when the joke's gone far beyond the realms of 'joke' and to be afraid is often the key to survival.
